midgetpanda transformed the kimono into a runway-fit, and young generation able design. The design mixed the elements of comfort with fashion, and it resuleted in a wonderful fitted top with a hakama pant with her signature pattern.

ladylucrezia created a victorian/japanese esque kimono. The overall look was fabulous, and the seperate peices were great. As you all know I personaly dislike corsets, but when I saw this one, I was overwhemled. It was fabulous! Other than that, the design was flawless...Julie said the front part fabric looks arbitrary. Whatever. Good design.

ZebrASkin44 did wonders with this challenge. This time, she carried on with an unbridled determination to succeed, because she had been dying for this challenge. Her zebra patterned dress with its gold patterned cape was classic, sophisticated, and undeniably "ZebrASkin!"

realityundersiege realized a wonderful design with wonderful additions. The thing I was worried about was that the kimono was made from a light brown chiffon...from discription, chiffon cant be opaque, so her *cough cough* would show through...Anywho, the design was wonderful with the cocoa brown additions, and traditonal kimono style.

OUT: Eldheler designed a very classic kimono...but it leaned to far to one side...it was more tradtional and comfy than young and fashionable. The fabrics and the design direction were not part of her milieu — more active-sport than dress-n-dazzle. I as exspectiong silks and brocades, and I once again got jersey. She sayed true to herself though, simple iwth details. It had the basic sillouette of a kimono and it had no inovation whatsoever.

ZebrASkin44 Always excites us when she posts "Finished" [link] on my DA page. This time she created a fabulous "liquid" designs that seemed to float off of Lipstick. At first...when you see this design, you think "It's so simple" but when you read the discription, you see that it's anything but. The design was beautiful....but comforable? The answer is yes. Remove the skirt with the tug of a ribbon, and you have instant comfort...the luxury of comfort. Underwear.

ladylucrezia won over the judges with this stunning design. The only thing that bothered us *pokes Daniel and Julie* was the ruffled sleeves would be annoying if you were tossing and turning. The print, the shorts, and the shoes all spelled sucess. The gathering/flare at the bottom of the blouse was a wonderful addition excpecially with the print...because if the print were not there to aid this wonderful top, it would look flat and borring.

We can't blame midgetpanda for rushing her designs...but even rushed designs can be compelling. The outfit seemed to be very comfortable...but was lacking in overall design. The voluminous "pants" were just....pants and the only interesting thing was the tee...the embeillishments. The slippers might reveal the fact that this look as a whole would be pajamas, and the goal was to create something that would illumante this standpoint.

Eldheler seems to be stepping up her game. The nightwear, to be turned into daywear was wonderfully exicuted, and brilliantly thought out. The problem was that is was sort of boring. Doesn't everyone (women) have pajamas with floral patterns? Everyone has this. Everyone. The theme was too common to be origanal. t may have been organic, but it was too common a theme.

If realityundersiege would have turned in her design on time (before 4:00), this would have most definatly have been a winner. The blubble sweater/dress/nightgown was totally comfortable, and fashionable! The pocket for keeping your things in was great, and it had a great bohemian look for the day. You couldn't tell it was pajamas. All in all this look was wonderful.

ladylucrezia's concept was stunning cool, hip, and really enchanting...and she knew it! The signature glass beading (refer to Topic 1) For the top, alone, I salute her, but her look succeeded well beyond that achievement. If a little girl were to buy this, she could dress her up in so many ways (with other looks of course). The total look was cute, modern, and very Charollete. Watch out Verna!!!
realityundersiege created a stunning look. It was symetrical, which I like, and the flare on the dress really made it pop, but It was also a little "dressy" for a casual dance. Other than that, this design rocked! Great comback!!!

Ah, ZebraSkin44. Her design was flamboyant, hip, and well exicuted. At first we didn't really like the yellow...but as we continued to stare (enchanted), we sayw the "fantasmacal" beauty behind the monocromatic yellow dress. I personally responded well to the evening gloves and I liked the blue detailing of the skirt, very Charollete.

Alia-Chan17 worried me with her most desperate look. Instead of making Charollete sophisticated, she made her very risque. The empire top with the vulgar cut was suggestive...imagine if teens and little children bought this??? On the other hand, would their mother's let them buy it? Everything else was pretty, but it was too overwhelmed by intricate cut of the blouse.

midgetpanda is disappointing us that is, she's not working at the level I know she's capable of achieving. For this challenge, she got by. For the first time we found midgetpanda to be boring. The top we found (at least) to be exciting, whereas the undergarment, and the capris were bland and uninviting. panda, have a Power Bar and some Jamba Juice and snap to it!

Eldhler created a very simple solution to the challenge. It wasn't very original...all that was, was her signature print...and v-neckline. If it had been white, it would have been a basic tube dress with v-neck. Not all too interesting... All-in-all we found her look to be too juvinile for a high-school dance. All that aside, she should be happy that she's still in...

selay wins and had a proud showing! Her design was modern, and very classy. Her purse which was inspired by Gretel's bread was wonderfuly exicuted, and her printed skirt was fabulous! The printed twill on her signature bolero jacket was splinidiferous. The outfit responded to the task well: modern, based on a fairytale, and fit to work the runway. Congrats, selay!!!
midgetpanda invisoned her model stomping on her long hair, and then rose above the restrictions they placed on her. That I have to say was a wonderful idea. I was expectiog something like this from midgetpanda, creative, modern ,and interesting. I was worried about the Vivianne Westwood style shoes...the model might break her heel and won't be able ot walk... The German feel from the story exuded from the clothing and that was a winner in itself.

ladylucrezia designed a very simple nad elegant dress, but she was innovative by adding a two toned collar and curved cut and seam. The design I belive would be suitable for any runway. It was a little reminesant of the renisance era, but To her credit, the overlayer of the casa satin and the jewlery was an excellent addition, because they gave the look a little bling and saved it from being too past-era and geriatric.

ZebrASkin44 transformed Little Boy Blue into Flamboyant Fabulous Woman. He transformed everything ezcept for the underwear...which stayed the same. I felt that she kept everything kind of the same...at least that's how it looked. Maybe if the pose differed... Overall, I was pleased but I have to say, ZebrASkin could have been more inovative...

Alia-Chan17 really dressed Little Red Riding Hood up, from being a simplistic little girl, to a more sophisticated teenager/young woman. The design was exicuted beautifuly and the fabrics: sheer knit and a heave cotton mix really came together to give the outfit a completed and whole look. I was pleased, at this allowed Alia to go on forth to the next round!!!

realityundersiege I think lost it forthis challenge... Don't get me wrong, the outfit was a beautiful creation, but it looked sort of retro. Instead of making it more modern like the challenge stated, she made it more simple. She wasn't the only contestant to do this though. If you take away the topic to be modern...this could hae been a winner....but unfortunatly it was not. It was a beautiful creation...but off topic.
Eldheler created a total comback from all other designs. It was modern and exuded all of the feeling of the big bad wolf that he had in the story. The colors and fabrics were wonderful together, and the swirled diagonal zipper really said modern and runway foucused. Leather and fur and that fabulous mohawk (by the way, you have to keep her hair like that for the rest of the compition unless she gets a wig or a weave)....do I have to say more??? This was most definatly a contender for the win.

Out: Juliet196 was totally off. The design was reniasance inspired..which wasn't the objective. I liked the idea of doing sleepwear, but The puffs and lace, and printed fabric wasn't modern at all! Aside from that, as many of the designs, it was goregous, but the main objective was to be modern. Use an old inspiration for use today! I am disapointed...and sory she had to go...but someone did...
